Kick Up Your Heels at Our Horsback Riding Camp

Day Camps are offered during both the winter and spring breaks as well as throughout the summer months. Our students appreciate the extended time to develop riding skills.  Special attention is given to barn safety and manners.  Campers are also encouraged in their involvement in the grooming and feeding of the horses. Participation in our recreational activities keeps each day lively and creative.

Our day camp schedule operates from 9 am until 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday.  For your convenience early drop off and late pick up are available. The program serves those who are five years and older and appeals to both beginners and advanced riders.  Many of our students enjoy attending several camps each year.

Camps feature riding classes twice each day.  Our general horse care training includes bathing, braiding, trimming, horse health, and stable management.  Students are also taught equipment identification and its correct usage along with the proper care.  Sparking the academics with games, prizes, snacks and lots of horse crazy crafts, we fill each camper’s week to the brim.  Our day camp is flexible to some degree to benefit each camper with freedom to choose preferred activities.  Also, tucked in with their “take home” are photos to help keep memory-making days all the more lasting!
